- I cannot get the modem to distinguish between phone/fax/ARA. I get
- good data performance and can send and recieve faxes fine in a manual
- mode. However I cannot get the software that comes with the modem to
- distinguish between voice/fax automatically.
-
- Also the chip-set is unusual and many comm programs will not support
- it.
-
- Try something different. BTW if what you want is automated
- voice/fax/data reception look for a modem that ships with the new MS
- Phone app. since software is more important than hardware in this
- situation.
-
- Thanks,
- Jim
